8OJ Audio Works LLC ("8OJ Audio Works," "we," "us," or "our") collects and uses certain information when you request, reserve, rent, or return equipment, use our customer portal, or otherwise interact with our rental services.

Information We Collect

Depending on your transaction and use of our services, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, billing, delivery, and event location information, rental and reservation details, equipment selections, rental agreement acknowledgments, payment-related transaction information, communications regarding your rental, equipment inspection photographs and videos, and information reasonably necessary to provide and secure customer portal access.

Why We Use This Information

We use this information to process and manage your rental; communicate with you about your reservation; arrange delivery or pickup where applicable; process payments and applicable payment-card authorization holds; document equipment condition and functionality; investigate damage, loss, missing equipment, or reported problems; maintain business, accounting, and rental records; protect against fraud and unauthorized activity; provide and secure customer portal access; enforce applicable rental agreements; and comply with legal and insurance obligations.

Website Quote Requests

Quote requests submitted on 8ojaudioworks.com are processed by 8OJ Audio Works on our operations systems. We collect the name, email address, optional event date and type, and message you provide, plus non-identifying marketing tags from the page URL when present (for example source or campaign parameters). We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help reduce automated spam. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party advertising analytics on the public website.

Customer Portal and Secure Access

We may provide secure access links and a customer portal to help customers access information relating to their rentals. After a valid access link is used, our systems may use secure session technology, including cookies, to maintain authenticated portal access. These session cookies may be used to provide the portal, maintain security, and help prevent unauthorized access. We do not describe or publish sensitive security credentials or authentication values as part of this notice.

Equipment Inspection Photos and Videos

8OJ Audio Works may photograph or record equipment before it is released for a rental and after it is returned. Videos may be used to document that powered equipment is functioning before delivery or pickup. Photos and videos may also document equipment condition, damage, missing items, or other issues. This documentation is used for equipment management, maintenance, rental records, insurance matters, and dispute resolution.

Payment Information

Payments and payment-card authorization holds may be processed through third-party payment processors. 8OJ Audio Works does not intend to store complete credit-card numbers or security codes outside of authorized payment-processing systems.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate our business and customer portal, including payment processors, technology providers, hosting and communications providers, accounting providers, insurers, and professional advisors, when reasonably necessary. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, customers, equipment, or business.

Data Retention

We retain rental, portal-access, and related information for as long as reasonably necessary to complete transactions, provide services, maintain equipment and business records, resolve disputes, comply with legal or tax requirements, and protect our rights.

Your Privacy Choices

You may contact us regarding questions about personal information we maintain about you or to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate business, legal, accounting, insurance, fraud-prevention, security, or contractual purposes.
