By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a quote, reserving equipment or services, using a customer access link or customer portal, or otherwise engaging with 8OJ Audio Works, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Our Services

8OJ Audio Works provides professional audio-related services that may include professional audio equipment rentals, DJ equipment rentals, sound-system rentals, event audio support, DJ services, delivery, setup, pickup, customer portal access, and other services described on our website or agreed to in writing. Specific equipment, services, pricing, availability, and rental requirements may vary. A quote, inquiry, or availability confirmation does not guarantee a reservation unless and until applicable reservation requirements have been completed and accepted by 8OJ Audio Works.

2. Eligibility and Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when communicating with or obtaining services from us. You are responsible for the accuracy of information regarding your identity and contact information, event location, rental dates and times, equipment requirements, delivery or pickup arrangements, and authorized representatives. You must promptly notify us if material information related to your reservation changes.

3. Quotes, Reservations, and Availability

All equipment and services are subject to availability. Quotes may expire and may be corrected, modified, or withdrawn before a reservation is finalized. A reservation may require acceptance of a rental agreement, payment of applicable charges, completion of required customer information, authorization of an applicable payment-card hold, and other requirements communicated during the reservation process. We may decline or cancel a reservation where reasonably necessary, including because of equipment availability, safety concerns, inaccurate information, suspected fraud, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

4. Rental Terms

Additional rental terms may apply to specific equipment or transactions. When you rent equipment from 8OJ Audio Works, you may be required to enter into a separate rental agreement. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed rental agreement, the signed rental agreement will control with respect to that rental transaction. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the applicable rental agreement.

5. Payment and Payment Authorization

You agree to pay all applicable charges associated with your equipment rental or other services. Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors. For certain rentals, we may require authorization of a hold on a payment card in accordance with the applicable rental agreement or transaction terms. You remain responsible for authorized charges arising under the applicable agreement, including charges associated with late returns, missing equipment, damage, or other amounts properly owed.

6. Equipment Condition and Documentation

8OJ Audio Works may inspect, photograph, or record equipment before delivery, pickup, or release to a customer and after equipment is returned. Documentation may include equipment condition, configuration, functionality, existing wear or damage, damage identified after a rental, and missing equipment or accessories. This documentation may be used for equipment management, maintenance, rental records, insurance matters, dispute resolution, and enforcement of rental obligations.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers renting equipment are responsible for complying with the applicable rental agreement and exercising reasonable care while equipment is in their possession or control. You agree not to use equipment unlawfully, operate it inconsistently with manufacturer instructions or provided guidance, allow unauthorized modifications or repairs, misrepresent intended use or location, intentionally damage or misuse equipment, or transfer possession to unauthorized parties where prohibited. Specific responsibilities regarding operation, weather exposure, transportation, security, damage, loss, and return are governed by the applicable rental agreement.

8. Website and Customer Portal Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep website and customer portal information accurate, but content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Equipment availability, specifications, pricing, and service descriptions may change without notice. Website and portal content is provided for general informational and account-management purposes and does not itself constitute a binding offer or modify a rental agreement unless expressly stated otherwise.

9. Customer Access Links and Portal Access

8OJ Audio Works may provide customers with a secure access link to view or manage information relating to a rental through our customer portal. Access links may expire, be revoked, or otherwise become unavailable. You should protect access links from unauthorized disclosure and promptly contact us if you believe an access link has been shared or accessed improperly. Portal access is provided as a convenience and does not replace, amend, or override the applicable rental agreement. A rental agreement remains controlling where applicable.

10. Intellectual Property

The 8OJ Audio Works website, branding, logos, graphics, text, photographs, designs, and other original content are owned by or licensed to 8OJ Audio Works and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially use our content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website and services may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment processors, technology providers, communication platforms, and social media platforms. Those third parties may have their own terms, policies, and privacy practices. 8OJ Audio Works is not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
